THERE WILL BE NO MAKE UP CLASSES FOR THIS SESSION, NO EXCEPTION. NO REFUND. IF YOU ARE TARDY OR MISS A CLASS, YOU WILL BE DISMISSED WITHOUT RECOURSE FOR COMPLETING THIS PROGRAM. TO AVOID TARDINESS TO THE ZOOM ONLINE CLASSES, LOG INTO THE ZOOM CLASSES ON YOUR CELL PHONE UNTIL YOU ARE ABLE TO LOG ONTO YOUR LAPTOP. YOU SHOULD ALSO LOG ONTO YOUR CELLPHONE IF YOU HAVE WIFI, LAPTOP OR COMPUTER PROBLEMS. DO NO SIGN UP IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS TO THE ABOVE.
THIS IS A LEGAL PROCESS FOR TEENS (UNDER 18 YRS OLD) TO OBTAIN A DRIVER’S LICENSE. DO NOT SIGN UP UNLESS YOU ARE COMMITTED TO THIS PROGRAM. IF YOU ARE COMMITTED TO SPORTS, JOB, TRIPS, OR ANY ACTIVITIES THAT WILL PREVENT YOU FROM COMMITTING TO THE DATES AND TIMES OF THE PROGRAM, DO NOT SIGN UP. FROM THE FIRST CLASSROOM TO THE LAST BEHIND THE WHEEL SESSION, THE PROGRAM WILL NORMALLY COMPLETE IN 8-10 WEEKS. THE BEHIND THE WHEEL(BTW) INSTRUCTION SHALL BEGIN ANYTIME AFTER THE 3RD WEEK OF CLASSSROOM INSTRUCTION. THE IDEAL TEEN STUDENT SHOULD HAVE 3-7 HOURS OF DRIVING BEFORE THE FIRST BTW LESSON. IDEALLY, THEIR PEDAL TOUCHES SHOULD BE VERY DELICATE. IT IS ESSENTIAL TO ALL ASPECTS OF VEHICLE CONTROL. WE WILL WORK HARD ON IT DURING THE FIRST LESSON, HOWEVER, PLEASE WORK WITH THEM ON THIS BEFORE AND AFTER THE FIRST BTW LESSON TO IMPROVE THEIR OVERALL PROGRESS. IT IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECT TO SUCCESSFULLY CONTROL THE CAR IN PROGRESSIVELY HARDER BTW LESSONS. THE STUDENTS WHO STUGGLE THE MOST AND A FEW WHO ARE NOT ABLE TO PASS BTW, DO NOT HAVE THE DELICATE TOUCH ON THEIR PEDALS. THE GOAL IS FOR THEM TO BECOME ROAD SAFE.
Virtual Online ZOOM Classroom Dates: Nov 21,26; Dec 3,5,10,12,17,19,26; Jan 2,7,9. No Classroom on Nov 28; Dec 24,31. On the first day of virtual online classroom: Parent/Student meeting at 5:30pm-7:15pm. Student Classroom 7:15pm-8:00pm. Class Days: Tuesdays/Thursdays, except on Nov 28; Dec 24,31.
Class Times: 5:30pm-8:00pm except as noted above.

Teen Single Rate:
Tuition Fee: $530.00
“Teen” refers to those who are 17 years of age and under at the time of the class session.

BTW Availability Form: You must select at least 10 time slots of availability, including normal after school(2:00 & 4:30, and weekends), as you will be partnered with another student with similar availability schedule. Home schoolers, while you can add other times, please pick times that coincide with after school time slots for public and private schoolers, ie, M-F@ 2:00 & 4:30 and weekends. If you can not commit for BTW to a minimum of 10 time slots on a regularly occurring weekly basis, please do not register for this class. For home schoolers, private or charter schools like HTA, you may list other times in addition to the 10 normal time slots. We might be able to partner you with homeschoolers or other charter schoolers who are available outside of normal time slots. During School breaks, students are available at more times and will fill out a second BTW availability form for Fall, Winter, Spring, or Summer break. DO NOT SIGN UP FOR THIS PROGRAM if you are committed to any activity, including but not limited to a job, a trip, sports, marching band,dance, music, school clubs, during 10 weeks of this program. This time period is from the first day of classroom until 10 weeks later.

Payment: Your seat is not reserved until payment is made. Do not make payment until a registration form is filled out. Only Venmo or Cash payment in the amount of $530 is accepted. If paying by Venmo, please make Venmo payment to @Ronald-Aoki. Then text Ronald Aoki at (808)306-9552, your teen's first & last name and their personal Gmail address as they will be Gmail invited to Google classroom with a Zoom link to the online virtual classroom. Have your teen accept the invitation. If paying by cash, please text Ronald Aoki at (808)306-9552 to schedule a meet up and your seat will be held. Text your teen's first & last name and their personal Gmail address. Once cash payment is received, they will be Gmail invited to Google classroom with a Zoom link to the online virtual classroom. Have your teen accept the invitation.
