Welcome to the Hawaii Driving Institute website!

Hawaii Driving Institute (HDI) is a Driver Education School on the Island of Oʻahu. Classes are available for both new teenage and adult drivers. All HDI Driver Education Instructors are certified by the State of Hawaii Department of Transportation.

Teenage participants receive both mandatory 30 hours of classroom instruction as well as 6 hours of behind-the-wheel (BTW) instruction. We offer adults behind-the-wheel only instruction.

Students can now register online and instantly reserve a seat by making a Venmo payment from a computer, tablet or smartphone. Your seat is not reserved until payment is made. We are currently accepting only Venmo or Cash payments. If paying by cash, please text Ron Aoki at (808) 306-9552 to arrange a meet up at the physical classroom at 99-165 Moanalua Rd, Ste 101.
